“Armonie d’autore,” the title of the concert, offers us a refined and highly sought-after journey within a less common but extremely rich page of music and brilliant authors belonging to classicism. They fall between Baroque and Romanticism and are composers who lived mainly during the 1700s. The Accademia Antica Trio, with its instrumental ensemble for flute, oboe and cello, gives us a unique experience among the notes of these composers, some of whom would be lost without them.

The concert opens with Trio Sonata No. 1 in C Major by Alessandro Besozzi (1702-1793), an oboist of unanimously recognized skill, followed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart ‘s (1756-1791) Diverimento No. 1, is the first of three divertimenti all composed in 1772. The Trio then transports us into the world of Jean Baptiste Loeillet (1680-1730), an oboist as well as harpsichordist and flutist of Belgian origin, he is remembered in London circles for his virtuosic and pleasingly varied writing. The program continues with the Sonatas No. 3 and No. 6 Op. 1 by Carl Barbandt (1716-1755), who favored wind instruments in his music, emphasizing their expressive power, followed again by Johaan Gotlieb Janitsch (1708-1763) with the Trio Sonata in G Major, whose style was characterized by original thematic ideas, rich harmonies and sophisticated ornamentation. The finale is reserved for Joseph Franz Haydn (1732- 1809), one of the most important composers of Viennese classicism; his style is remembered for his tendency to make each composition a unified and balanced organism; his seemingly simple writings, as well as easily memorized, short and very elegant themes, however, always reserve a playful and playful effect, giving us an unforgettable movement of emotions.
