The MASSENZIO 2035 project is an ambitious initiative to disseminate the works of the great composer Domenico Massenzio da Ronciglione, one of the leading names of the Roman School of the early 17th century. The repertoire selected for “At the Creation of the World” aims to trace a broad profile in the work of Maxentius, juxtaposing the monumentality of the sacred repertoire with the freshness and lyrical intimism of secular compositions.
